๐ธ Spotnik Hi Fi Spotnik Hi Fi ๐ธ
"The songs of the reggae band 'Spotnik Hi Fi' are intended for people who like to think while they laugh. Or to laugh while they think. Actually, to be precise, the songs of 'Spotnik Hi Fi' are intended for people who like to laugh and think while they dance..." (Ben Shalev, "Haaretz")
Spotnik Hi Fi play Hebrew reggae with a heavy accent. The musical inspirations are roots reggae, ska, and underground Russian rock from the Soviet era. The texts ironically reflect the reality of here and now, and are influenced by South American literature, classical Chinese poetry, and problematic messages from outer space.

He is David Roth, a sound engineer and wandering music collector with a wide and diverse repertoire of styles. In his free time, he likes to grow vegetables and make pickles from them.
KNรWMADD's set draws inspiration from roots reggae and dub, combined with the genre's later evolutions into England's Jamaican club scene.
With an emphasis on a message of freedom, love, and non-violent resistance to oppression and authority in the spirit of election day.
