In January, we embarked on a unique musical project where they will perform at Narbata once a month, each performance special and unique. The first performance was exciting and enveloping in sounds and songs brought to us by Yogev and Uri, alongside unique covers and arrangements.
The connection between Yogev and Uri creates a playful and caressing dimension and opens paths and bridges to cultures and styles from around the world. Combining voices and musical instruments that open the heart and break the boundaries of time and space. Their performance combines diverse original music - folk, jazz, rock and Turkish music alongside covers in unique and contemporary arrangements of songs we all love.
Uri Shmer is a creator, singer and translator. Her deep and powerful voice connects styles. In a variety of languages that bring the musical abundance to one moment. In her singing, she evokes deep memories, as if her spirit was with the great composers and musicians of the last century.
Yogev Levi is a multi-instrumentalist on a variety of Western and ethnic instruments. Musical producer, arranger, creator. He has played with the greatest artists in the country around the world. Connects East to West, ancient to contemporary. His voice and playing caress and soften the heart.
