A performance of Selichot and attunement towards the New Year:
Diwan HaLev is an ensemble of musicians and singers performing new and ancient sacred song in new arrangements that combine touches of world music.
A combination of piyyutim from various Jewish traditions and heritage with original songs.
The emphasis is on communal singing with audience participation in a simple and natural ritual experience that moves between quiet and ecstasy, aiming for connection, healing, and opening the heart.
The Diwan HaLev project was founded over twenty years ago with the vision of connecting the stage with sacred communal singing, a connection that has developed over the years in Israel. Diwan performances attract and unite a diverse audience coming from different parts of society and a wide age range.
