YOMA is a dance-theater creation performed by 11 women of different ages and backgrounds,
born from a women's reading group and movement research,
which met during the months of the war, led by Tamar Benyamini.

This work deals with the dynamic tension between power and softness - in the physical sense, and in the social sense in the feminine space - between woman and woman individually,
and between us - a community of women performing, creating, and sharing personal content - and the audience.

This work also deals with the yearning for a consciousness of peace in a time of war. And this is something that we believe should be dealt with again and again.
